there is no way to dump anyone nicely, no matter what you say or how nice you are he will still be hurt, but hey thats life, he will get over it. You can tell him he is moving too fast, or just lie and say it is somethign else, whatever you do be firm do not gived false hope of getting back together, just tell him it is over but you still care about him and want to remain friends(if you still want to), more than likely you willl not talk anymore anyways..good luck

tell him you think that he is moving too fast and your just not ready so you want to break up because this is not working out. there's never a break up where you dont hurt a person's feelin unless that person dont give a damn of course. but even though you dont want to be mean, if you want to end it, you have to do it. and its better if you do it yourself. explain everything, tell him the reason and tell him you're sorry and blah blah. if he gets mad at you, dont feel bad b/c you tried to break up with him in the best way you could. its always worse if you break up with him over a text message or instant message or others.
