I think it's a bad idea for friends to go after the same guy. If one of you end up going out with him then yes it's going to cause problems. I would forget about him, he's not the only guy on the planet. Keep your friendship, guys will come and go. In the end, your friend will still be there.

decide with her, what you 2 feel is more important. A guy or your friendship. Me personally, I chose the guy because girls will always screw you over in a heartbeat. I was friends with a girl for 8 years, who wanted the guy i had been with for a year and a half. She decided to go to our house when i was gone, lie to him about me, saying things like I was cheating on him (not true but she was jelouse), and they had sex in mine and his bed because he believed her. His excuse was "you two have been friends for 8 years, why would she lie". DUH...CUZ SHE WANTED YOU!

Depends on how strong your friendship is and how well you two deal with honesty. If you think you can handle it, tell him to pick. Whichever one he picks helps the next one to find a guy who is as nice if not better.

thats just it - you don't. you need to get away from him, because it will just ruin your friendship. no relationship is worth losing a friend. have her set you up with someone and vice versa. it will get you both away from the troublemaker, and you can continue your friendship.

Do something NOVEL...double team him! That's right, both of you date him, at the same time - literally. After all, it is most guys' dream.

Yes, it will drive an irrepairable rift between you. Sorry, but it has to be that way.
