It sounds to me like there is a lot behind that question. What I can tell you after having had four children in five years (they are grown now) is that I never thought the worst of my children until they gave me a reason to do so! All parents are different and as I said before, there is a lot of feelings behind that question. Might be a good idea to talk to a professional and get to those feelings. You will feel better. Good luck and someday when you are a parent try and remember how you felt during this time in your life.

Because we as parents know that the world is far worse then it was we were kids and we know that kids lie and go behind our backs to try out the ways of the world.

They think the worse so if it does happen they will not be surprised.
If it doesn't then it is better then what they had thought
