Did Saul talk to Samuel or an imposter in 1st Samuel 28?

I was thinking about this and I don't know what side I am on, what side are you on and why?

He talked to a demon imposter. Samuel had refused to talk to Saul before he died. After he died, do you think the witch of Endor could have forced the real Samuel to talk to Saul?

Saul talked to Samuel. It was 'Samuel' in the form people' spirits are in after death (of the flesh).

Whichever it was, it scared the witch. She obviously never had a real manifestation before.
