my mom ruined my credit with utility bills, credit cards and home alarm systems. then i did a little damage by having things somethings sent to collections as well, but it wouldn't have been as bad had she not already ruined it. and recently i got my car repossessed. not to mention i have a ton of inquries on my credit from when i bought my car, they sent me out to 15 banks to see which one would approve me. and then when i finally got approved my interest rate was 18% and my payment was $441 which is why they eneded up having to take it, bc i couldn't afford it. will i ever be able to buy a car? under what circumstances and how can i fix my credit? HELP!

Here's an article titled "Understanding Your Credit Score" that will help you see how the credit scoring system works. Then you'll be able to do a good job at repairing your credit (and keeping it up)

Wow that sucks, but I would just try to get all that debt cleared off and settle any collection claims. Start making payments on credit cards and other things on time, but to restore your credit is going to take years. And as far as buying a car, I am not sure if you need one anytime soon but I should just buy the cheapest car you can because if you go out to buy a car anytime soon you will probably get a loan for something higher then what was your last interest rate.

First of all, try fixing you credit! Pay EVERYTHING on time, and DONT send the minimum payment. Send more. Then you find a bank of your own to see if they give you an auto loan. Credit Unions are real good when it comes interest rates. But you normally have to open a checking/savings account with them. Finding the right bank on your own will reduce the amount of inquiries on your credit report.

Good luck!

Everything is based on the credit system. Financial institutions are able to see how you you pay your bills by your credit history. Fixing bad credit takes time. Pay your bills on time. Don't make any more bills. Go to credit counseling.

You are what you are. Pure and simple. If you can't back up what you say then what the hell good are you? You're a dreamer and don't know the reality of your life. You think that you can get by on a promise? You have to back up what you say. It ain't even about the money. Dolt.

don't give out your SSN#. legally it's your right...especially with utilities-they can't deny you service based on that..
