I could not figure out what the character is supposed to be...Chinese which is where the Japanese Kanji comes from has many ancient characters which are no longer in modern dictionaries. My dictionary did not have it, sorry. It's possible the artist put something on the sleeve trying to make it look 'oriental'. The elven girl could be from the Celtic or Gaelic origins...so in that case her sleeve would have a rune and not a Chinese character.

I've just gone trough my list of Kanjis with 5,6 and 7 lines and it's not among them.
Could be one of the non-official ones or a chinese one.

I think it looks like the number 100, though badly written.

I don't think so, though it looks sort of similar to the characters for "old" (吉) and "high/tall"  (高)
