The condition is exacerbated by wind and weather conditions. Last night I moisturized my hands well and slept in rubber gloves. It didn't hurt, but it didn't help much, either. Suggestions? Thanks! P.S. I have received such positive health advice from YA that I don't hesitate to ask now when a question arises. I don't substitute for med advice when necessary, but often someone in the know is all that's required. Again, Thanks!

Luv, the neosporing is a good idea to prevent infection. They are that badly chafed and I hadn't thought of it. I'm sure they'll be fine. Your recommendation is a good one.

It is going to take longer than one night of moisturizer. I would get a really heavy moisturizer like udder cream or Aveno has a good lotion and do the glove thing for a week. Maybe try coating your hands in neosporine (sp?) and then put the gloves on.

Sorry!! I hope they heal quickly.
