The fan could have blown some sort of bacteria in your system? The stiff neck would worry me a bit. Worse case: torticollis or maybe cat-scratch fever (dont know enough about the systoms to get a clear idea just going with worse case here) Are there lumps on your neck, discoloration? Is it sever, does it spazem. One side of the neck or both? Could be mono...or just the flu/cold. See how hard it is to get med advice from yahoo? If can be anything and because I dont know you (eating habits, physical habits and life style) and I dont know your med history, well theres a lot left out and therefore no one will be able to give you an accurate reading. Oh and PS: I'm a med student if that helps at all. Talk to your doctor. Neck trama is very serious.

Actually, I'd guess it's a flu.
I have heard that a cold will come on slowly, and a flu (regardless of the type of symptoms) will attack quickly.
I highly doubt that skateboarding outside in shorts had anything to do with it...even if it is just a cold, you don't get these from being cold, you get them from coming in contact with the germs.
Strep throat almost never comes with a runny nose, and most often, doesn't make your voice go away.

I think you have an anxiety disorder. Or it may be Svensolventerol Syndrome. You need to wash your eyebrows with toothpaste while hanging upside down wearing a bra and long green sox....try that. If that doesnt work, it just may be a common virus and will clear up on its own. Take 1000mg of Vitamin C in 2 divided doses or else you will need to wear a diaper ( large amounts of vit c at once causes the runs). :)

It could be anything from laryngitis to a cold. When I had strep throat, my throat was really bad, so that is often the worst symptom in strep throat. I really dont know but you should go to the doctor.

Sounds like the average cold to me. Might be a sinus infection. Go to the doctor!

Your symptoms are so generic that everyone is likely to say cold or flu.
Don't use this site to get people to diagnose your health...use a real doctor, go visit your GP.

you can have laringitis, strep throat, a gland infection, a fever, the flu, but I don't think it's anything major. probably strep or the gland infection. I reccomend www.webmd.com, that's where I get all my disease information.
