A loving, understanding environment. If you are talking about like weather environment, I mean I love it here in Santa Barbara, I grew up in Chicago and I hated it but oh well.

a environment without strict religious influence. Most of my buddies that grew up being forced to go to Catholic school, sunday school, wensday, friday, saturday and sunday services turned out to sell drugs, do coke, and other things I wont even post on this message board. Religion can give you some good moral standards if one truely beleives in it. And it can help kids learn good moral standards(if the Church promotes tolerance and not to discriminate against other religions). But if you over do it your going to screw up their lives. That and they wont respect you for the rest of their lives. Its probally less dangerous to let your children grow up playing with razors and rusty nails.

A loving and caring environment. Visit some church around your area and check if they have any support programs for young families. We have one in San Diego.
