If you can't work agree where to propose what chance have you of agreeing within a marriage and making the marriage work? Its sad that your relative was speared by a Zulu but our army was in someone elses country, killing innocent African people. The Zulu was defending his country and I would suggest the British soldiers should not have been there in the first place taking over countries by force.
It is sad that he was killed by a zulu but the same is going on in the middle east with British troops being killed.
Proposing should be a spur of the moment thing and does not need to take place up a mountain does it? What is wrong with proposing here? there are many hills and mountains so come to a compromise. I don't think what has happened in past lives affects our present lives.

ummmmmmmmmmmm.....come down and live in the real world for a while....it's not all about where and when and how someone proposes....it's about the two of you as a couple. If you are worried that he's not sensitive enough over the proposal, seems like maybe there are other issues at hand. One being the whole omen thing....

It's so nice that you have both put so much thought into where you would like to begin your engagement.
However,
At the end of the day, isn't it more important that you do get engaged and not where you do it?
My friend never got a proper proposal, but she is happily married now and that's all the matters.

This is a joke I take it? If it's not you are no way near mature enough to even think about marriage. If you know your b/f is going to propose and you have discussed it sorry to burst your bubble but that's him proposed. He could maybe say the words again but the proposal has already been made.

This makes no sense to me. How on earth does a couple plan a proposal? I thought it was planned by one party and was pretty much a surprise for the other although they knew that the relationship was headed in that direction. Go ahead and get engaged before you make either of these trips.

Do you love this man or not?
If you do, forget about all the ancestors that were killed by Zulus 100 years ago and enjoy your life with your future husband.
No, he is not insensitive.

I yhink its best that you just have a romantic dinner or somthing and have something normalish. Like have him take you on a date you'll never forget and propose there. And then go to the mountains you wanted to go to. hope that helped

I think that you should allow him to do it his way and not try to control every moment of your relationship. It is a bad habit to have going into a marriage.
