Good laugh! Reminds me of the one about the Irishman Englishman and Scotsman going for a job on the building site. They heard that the foreman is a religious fanatic and that the test he gives to labourers is on the bible. The Scotsman goes in first as he says he’s a religious man. The Foreman asks who are the parents of Jesus? The Scotsman easily answers Mary and Joseph. So he gets the job and on his way out tells the other two the question and answer. The Englishman goes in and gets the job and tells Paddy how easy it is and not to worry. Paddy says I’ve got a bad memory and I’m sure I’ll forget the answer so they write the answer on his shovel, Mary and Jesus. Paddy goes in and sure enough the Foreman asks the same question and sure enough Paddy has forgotten the answer. So he looks down at his shovel turns it around and shouts out SPEAR & JACKSON!
(For those in far off lands that’s a famous brand in UK for making shovels)
