And no, I don't have to need a BM, I'm smart enough by now to know the difference. My husband thinks it is my appendix. Just wanted your opinion.

I would go to a doctor. It could be a problem with your ovaries, uterus or large intestine (IBS, diverticulitis). Good luck.

It most likely is not your appendix since it is on the left side and not the right.

It doesn't matter which side you were hit on, what did happen is that your spine took most of the impact and caused muscles to tighten up in it. When the muscles are tight in the lower back they can press onto the nerves as they leave the spine going to your hips to cause pains in them. That is why there is no focal point for the pain, it's coming in on the nerves. To get rid of the pain you have to free up your back muscles to release the pressure on the nerves going to your hips and here's how to free them up; Back: (do while sitting) Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Two questions, are you running a fever? Are you nauseated or vomiting? I you answer yes, please go to the ER,this could be one of several things, and you need a blood test to sort this out.Not all patients will have the same exact symptoms in the same exact time of onset etc.Several things come to mind from ovarian cyst to a possible kidney stone or urinary tract infection,so its best to get this checked. Take care. SW RNP

Either you need to take a BM soon, or it's probably gas. Baking soda and water may do the trick. Try some ginger ale.
