do they replace hairdryers, or what?

Not hairdryers, just curling irons. Honestly, I have tried 3 different brands of heated rollers, and they have not worked. I have had other friends say this, too. For some reason, most of them do not get hot enough for average black hair (which has nothing to do w/ kinkiness, b/c all of us use relaxers).

They did not replace the hair dryer. Hot rollers just makes a curl, but they don't last long.

No they don't. And if you use heated rollers your hair needs to be dried!!! They are mainly used to add volume to hair and to add a nice curl. If you do it right you can get it to look just like how all the celebs where there hair.
