Yes i realize i am gonna get yelled at cause there is no such thing but there is in a way but i would not consider another breed but selective breeding of smaller bulldogs. So whatever u may call them has anyone ever bough one online and the results were positive? I was looking at http://miniaturebulldogz.com/index.html and was pretty interested.. Dunno if anyone has any other suggestions.

Btw my family breeds and raises goldens... So i am well aware of how i want my puppy's raised and how important the breeder is. We raised our puppies hands on and when other people say hands i am very suspicious because many breeders will say that and they are just raised in kennels.. Which is why i would like to stay local but i also want a very healthy do which is why these mini bulldogs caught my attention.. Because with less weight on there frame it would make sense some of the problems of the breed might be alleviated (joints and such)

Also i have no intention on breeding.. Leave that to my parents. That is very messy(seriously) and tiresome business and while fun its to much work. This is my companion/buddy dog for me. This is my last year of college before i go out in the real world

If you're really interested in a small bulldog then get a French Bulldog. They are about the size of a Boston Terrier. Please, though, please don't go about breeding it. They are really neat little guys and don't deserve to have their bloodlines mucked up.

MINI comes from someone breeding a "faulty" dog,, a dog that did not grow to conform to breed standards,, one that is genetically incorrect and quite possibly unhealthy,.... no one , with any ethics, purposely breeds an undersized dog....... i wuld suggest you go to AKC.org,, click on bulldog,, and get breeder referrals,, call these reputable breeders,, tell them that you want a bulldog,, preferably a ***** "because they are smaller than the males" etc. i would not suggest you buy from the Puppymill,,,,, you could also go to some dog shows and talk with the bulldog breeders/exhibitors there,, they can tell you of the health issues involved with the breed etc.... this breed does have health problems,, and you seem to be keen on risking it by buying from a unreputable breeder... good luck i say to you **** you say your family raises goldens?? I would like to hear about your line,, and your record in the show ring..... pease advise,, i would really like to read up on it

Just a few words of warning. Bulldogs are at high risk for a number of health defects normally (shoulder problems, birthing problems, eye problems, heart problems, skin problems) When you start breeding for size, you start to increase the risks as you are choosing to breed the runts of litters, and they are already genetically not up to par. I would think very carefully before choosing such a breed, and invest in a good veterinary health insurance.

Really, I would avoid these. Bulldogs are plagued with health problems to begin with, miniaturizing them only exacerbates the problem.

If you do get one, I hope you have a lot of money set aside for vet bills.
