depends on how old you are --- if you are under 20 then while not illegal it may not be advisable --- over 20 go for it

its not illegal to fall in love but it is illegal to act on those feelings.if the two are really mature especially if that person is young, 16 seems young but some are really mature, i think as long as you are 18, you are old enough, under, hell i was 17 and dated someone that was 24, and currently im in love with someone thats 10 years older than me and im 26, been with him since i was 20

Its not illegal to "fall in love" but it is illegal if one of the people in the relationship is under age (18 in California) and the other is over the legal age.
