I remember one time when I was super depressed for a long time because of some things which had happened to me (I felt my world had been completely shattered several times in a row). Which isn't like me at all, because I normally am a very happy person who doesn't let things get me down. I remember at that time I felt so depressed that I felt I could never be happy again. But I got out of that, learned a ton, and am back to my normal happy self, having learned a lot about myself.
I think sometimes those painful times are our greatest lesson teachers, and sometimes are unavoidable. But I think many times we can get out of the slumps and be happy. For me, there were several things which helped me out. First of all, prayer. I prayed a ton. Next, I got involved and tried to forget about myself. There's something about helping someone else that makes things for us seem OK where before they weren't. There are plenty of people out there who just need a kind word, and learning to sincerely compliment people whenever I could, to look for ways I could help people, and do other such things really helped me out. Another thing I did was to count my blessings. At the end of each day, I would write a list of 5 things I was grateful for in general, and 5 things specifically that day which I was grateful for. That really helped me a lot, too. And, to be honest, I think it humbled me a lot, and gave me peace.
I hope this helps.

Meditate on the causes and conditions which brought these into being and think and analyze your reactions to them. All things in this world are ultimately "suffering" unless you cultivate the kind of mind that doesn't have serious aversions to everything, reduces the "dramatic" factor such things generate in your mind etc.
You don't have to be a Buddhist to benefit from Buddhist teachings... you can remain theist and incorporate such things into your life to improve it. Check out some good books or online info about whatever it is that's causing your pain... Pema Chodron has some delightful books you should be able to understand easily... "When Things Fall Apart" is one such title I can think of offhand... and again... you don't have to become Buddhist to benefit.
May you find happiness and the cause of happiness and an end to your suffering and the causes of suffering.

Life is change. There's no joy if there's no suffering to escape from. Life always alternates with ups and downs, it's how we deal with the waves that move us forward. There's always something more to look towards. You're right, the turbulent time will pass, so hang in there and and embrace the unknown.

You are Broke. Thats great because you know you are!! Work on solving you problems. Get a pen and a notepad. Right down exactly what the problems are. Set goals. break down the goals in to small goals. Write them down! Now get to work on solving them.
I suggest reading..... Suzy Orman is good. "Rich/dad Poor/dad" by Robert K is better.
Your local library card can be a road map to wealth. Dont turn away from you problems!!! face them and beat them!!!!
Being broke is not a big problem you are not sick or dying. It only takes time and focus to solve money problems. The more you can learn about how money works the better. I would give you more direct advice if i knew what exactly the problem was.......
GOoD LUck!!!!

Sorry your going through a tough time. You have my prayers.
Seems to me your on a good track, your praying, and also know this troubled time will pass. Since we are all human we seem to have the never ending want, or it will be better if. The best thing I can say is to take time to pray and give all your troubles, thoughts, pain and questions to God.
Read your Bible and try to be in good company of believers.
God Bless and Keep you in all you do.

You are right... this difficult time will pass. All you have to do is breathe and hold on until it's over. Better things are yet to come, they always do. Not everyone is unsatisfied now, but everyone has been where you are and has gotten through it. Call a crisis line where you can be anonymous and tell them your story... they will be supportive and helpful.

It is not right to believe that being an unsatisfied soul is what you are, regardless of what you do. I could share some thoughts with you, however you would have to email me and turn on your email option.

Listen to your intuition. You must quiet the noisy world around you and listen to your inner self for wisdom. Try to focus on the positives in your life, there have to be some. Keep in mind that no matter how bad you think you have it, someone else has it worse, I guarantee it.
Keep your chin up and remember, God never gives us more than we can handle. This too shall pass in time.

I feel for you, but your peace lies within yourself, but I know how that we can sometime go against out gut feeling about things, God gave us this sixth sense to help us when we are about to take that step that leads into dangerous situations, and we should have enough sense to following our instincts, but nooooo, we just fall headlong into trouble, and we can really be hurt and disillusioned in the outcome.I know you are suffering, but you have someone who can help.. just look toward heaven.. God is a;ways ready to listen, and he is the only one who can help.

Stop focusing on the negative. You're still alive, right? You can walk, right? You can see the sunrise, right?
Sounds like a sweet life to me.
Happiness and satisfaction are a state of mind.
