For the past like 3-4 weeks ive been sick..it started with a pain in my throat felt like a lump was there..then white bumps in the back of my throat..then a soar throat for a day or so headache..then like a week are two later i had chest pains with a shortness of breathe.. i went to the doctors they told me i had Broncitis and i was begining to get an ear infection.. but i dont think i had broncitis.. my lymph nodes were swollen (still are) all around my neck. I wanna say its MONO. But im not sure. I have no fever. A dry cough once in a while. Some muscle aches mostly sharp pains in my fingers and joints.. it is flu season. Also my cheekbones hurt when you touch them..my eyes are watery and get really itchy and hurt behing them. I mean a sinus infection cant cause pains, and nusea can it??

I would agree with the broncitis diagnosis, that or something like Strep throat can cause those problems too.

It is not the flu, and it is not mono your symptoms would be different if it were mono.

You need a broad spectrum antibiotic like Penacillin or something similar. Go get some from the doc.

Could definitely be fly symptoms. I had similar experience a few weeks ago, with the lymphnodes in my neck being very swollen and tender which made swallowing painful. Had a sore throat and muscle and joint aches all over. Also had a fever of about 102. My skin was extremely sensitive to touch and it actually hurt a lot, mostly my scalp and legs. It doesn't sound like mononucleosis to me, but a nasty case of the flu, which in fact could lead to bronchitis and ear infection because of drainage problems. I hope you are able to stay in bed and rest. Take Motrin or Tylenol for the pain. Drink lots of fluid and hot teas with lemon juice and honey in them. Make a brew of ginger root in hot water and drink that as a tea as well. See how you will be in a couple of days. Your lymphnodes will be swollen for quite a while. They are trying to fight whatever bug has invaded you. Aid your body in healing by resting as much as possible. Symptoms such as severe cough, shortness of breath, ear pain and persistent fever would take you straight to the doctor's office. Otherwise, I'd stay away from there. One tends to get sick from all the folks trying to get better.

Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. You can find some good home remedies at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

It sounds to me like you have the flu. You can have flu and sinusitis. Make sure to get plenty of fluids and plenty of rest. The swelling in the sinuses can be cured by pacing a nice warm wet washcloth on your face.
