thanks everyone, who told me how to get it down..but now im having trouble getting it back up!

..im so aggravated right now...

Once again lift the part that would be the bottom. Push it toward the back of the futon. You should hear a click. When you do, push the bottom back down into position. The back will rise into place at the same time.

Well: according to " Hide A Bed " types it's very easy make
sure & you'd better be careful when putting the unit back in
because matress & bed sheets must be on even ok

I'm sure it's pretty obvious that you need to do the operation in reverse.

Often, the key is to have a man help you, as the futon mattresses can be extremely heavy, and virtually impossible to lift.

If it's new it may take a lot of effort just push the bottom part really hard until the top pops back up

Check on the button, there could be a "lock" style clip to keep it in place. The best way to find out is to call the place where you bought it!!!!!
