What kind of twisted math teacher do you have? Talk about having an agenda.

Divide 561 by 1190 and you get roughly 47%

US still has the highest GDP of the world. In retrospect, the military spending percentange comparing in terms of GDP is not nearly as high as comparing with the rest of world. It will be hard to maintain that budget if the GDP starts shrinking. Would like to see the data on 2007 though. Here are the data I was able find:

We not have both. We were given out of Iraq and are interior the technique of lowering our presence in Afghanistan. We stayed out of Egypt and Tunisia and gave purely constrained help to Libya rebels. we are status back from Iran and Syria the position 10 years in the past we may were in with each weapon and all the boots shall we discover. we are wising up, we are able to not have the funds for now to not. The old Roman Empire is an outstanding analogy.Hitler's Germany alongside with Japan and perchance the U.S. made especially a lot an same mistakes. you should even throw the united kingdom in with the international locations that each and each body made an same mistakes.

If you really want the actual figures, they do post the budget on the DoD website. You can get there from whitehouse.gov. They always display that. You would just have to search it out. That way you'll get a true answer and not the media answer. It is steep though, that's for certain.
