teach his disciples never to use "I" but "our" and "us" when praying?

Because they were a group of believers. Not just a single person praying.

I don't think he actually said that they could not use "I" when praying, but gave them example of how to pray and that by using "US" showed the disciples the unselfish way to pray.

Jesus was praying with his disciples so he was using the collective term...

The bible also says we each are responsible for each other....(ill look up the verse...)

Use of the term “our” acknowledges that others too have a close relationship with God. But who have the unrestricted privilege of addressing him as their Father? Only dedicated, baptized individuals in his family of worshipers. Calling God “our Father” indicates that we have faith in God and realize that the only basis for reconciliation with him is full acceptance of Jesus’ ransom sacrifice.—Hebrews 4:14-16; 11:6.
