This is my son first year in high school. He already show natural talent in wrestling. Yesterday I went to his wrestling match, I was shocked to hear how many people were screaming "Animal Mother" when he wrestled.

I asked him what's up with the nick name, he shruged and say they got it from Full Metal Jacket but he had no idea what it mean. He seems to like the nick name and people seems to really respect him.

My husband says something is definitely wrong since the character from the movie who had that nick name wasn't exactly a good man

Should I be worried?

You shold ask a guy at the same high school...not one of his friends but regular HS kids that go there, why do they call your kid Animal Mother, but dont mention he is your kid.
Just ask... and dont put a concerned face.
It might not be a bad thing, you know that kids put so many nick names when you are in high school. The only way you get answers is by Asking! :)
good luck!

Your son's habit is maximum probably user-friendly toddler interest. As an adult, you do not probably ever bear in ideas a time once you probably did not understand that poop grow to be yucky and belonged contained in the rest room, yet you weren't born with that awareness. this isn't an "i decide on interest" habit yet an "i'm in touch by this" habit. Touching, searching at, and convinced, even tasting, is the way little ones and little ones study about the international round them. it isn't likely that this exhibits a lack of a nutrition or is a demonstration of a neurological disease. Take a non-difficulty mind-set to this. purely say that poop isn't for touching and that you'll sparkling it up. no decide on to make a huge deal out of it and attempt now to not educate disgust or marvel. it really is not any diverse in his eyes than the different element that he touches or tries to position in his mouth. continuously make stronger the shown reality that poop isn't for touching and also you may sparkling it up for him. that is amazingly a stunning good indicator that he's time-honored with of poop which will be useful at the same time as it includes potty education time. I have heard of little ones who confirm out a thanks to take their diaper off and play of their poop. that is gross and actual disgusting, yet ought to not be reason for excellent alarm except he would not get bored in it after some weeks time. If it is going to grow to be an obsession and he does all of it the time for most weeks then a visit which includes his well being care specialist should be perfect. For now, cope with it as an element that he will strengthen out of. ETA understanding that he has a poopy diaper isn't unavoidably a sturdy signal he's able to commence the potty education procedure except he has different indications besides. I have potty experienced a stunning good many little ones and at the same time as it isn't not available, maximum youthful ones urine prepare before bowel move prepare. I strongly propose you do not yet commence to potty prepare except he is going longer between moist diapers (my personal bench-mark is getting up dry from naps continuously), looks interested in what people do contained in the lavatory, and is able to understand and is prepared to adhere to 2-3 step guidelines.

I don't think you should be worried. If its just a name for his wrestling its all ok. All sorts of people have different sorts of nicknames.. expecially if it for sports.. like a stage name.. if mainly for the charactor of the player.. not the person..

Let it be and it sounds like you are supportive of your sons wrestling... keep it up

i wouldn't worry. kids give eachother stupid names all the time. for example: my nickname is ballerina toes...yet i've never done ballet and i hate it. just give ur son some space.
