I think Tuna tastes better in oil, of even brine, but the oil always finds its way not only on the dishes but all over the sink and it takes quite a lot of cleaning and I hate it! In fact I am fed up with cleaning it all up! So I tend to buy it in spring water, the least messy!

I go for oil - tastes better even without added dressing. I think it's healthier because it's vegetable oil. The water is actually brine solution (with salt in it), so it's less healthy.

Tuna in water...absolutely! Because the cheese I put with it in ciabatta and toast it has enough fat to balance out the good with the bad:o)

In water, if you want to add oil at least you have the choice of sunflower, vegetable, olive, extra virgin etc... the choice is yours. It also depends what you are going to use it with.
