im friends with a guy he hates! no love interest in the guy im friends with.

if its as vitriolic as you say, 1 of 2 things is going to happen.
1- you stay with the status quo and get caught in the middle when it all blows up.
2- you make a choice to be with one or be friends with the other.
Its human nature. This is not what self-centered fools call "being judgemental". It is also not your position to force them to talk, nor force them away from each other. You take care of what is best for YOU. If they are smart, THEN they will grow up because they each will lose you either as a friend or a girlfriend. But dont let yourself get caught up in the socialist garbage of making their feud your business, because they will still pound on each other whether you get involved or not.

well here is a question for you- which came first, the friend or the boyfriend? can they at least be civil? or you don't have to see them at the same time. what ever it was that cause your friend and b/f not to like one another probably isn't a valid excuse anyway. life is to short for an enemy.

are you an idiot? If the "friend" was in fact as dear as a friend in the truth, you would not care what bearing your boyfriend had on the situation. Too many people have self proclaimed friends. They know not the meaning of a friend.

tell him that just because you are friends with his worst enemy, doesn't mean that you don't like him. and if he can't respect that, it is so not worth being in a relationship with him because friends always come before boyfriends/girlfriends!

You need to decide who is more important to you and stick with that person. If you keep being friends with your boyfriend's enemy, your relationship with your boyfriend will fall apart.

Try to make them solve their issues, if not let each know that'll you'll gonna remain friends w/ the other and they'll have to accept that.

heres what you do.....tell your man to get over it...she/he is your best friend and even though he dont like him/her...he can still have respect that he/she is your friend. look tell him he has to trust you when you are around this person...obviously he doesnt trust this friend...let him know that he can trust you...if he cant then this rela may not work out without trust
