Hera,
I'd have to disagree with your arguement. There is ABSOLUTELY no scientific evidence that stem cells will help heal or cure any disease. There is evidence that adult stem cells can be beneficial in treating diseases. Plus, there have been many "snowflake babies" that were adopted and born.

Some of them visited the White House in 2005.

Religion is too involved with the Government. They both use each other to further their agenda, but Religion actually EXPECTS the people they vote for to do everything that the church wants, regardless of if it is best for the country or not. Perfect example is stem cells. There are possibilities that aren't present in other areas in medicine, but it is inhibited in their research because the church feels that it is "immoral" without even understand the fact that the cells that they use is nothing more than medical waste. When you start putting your FEELINGS into decisions, that is when you no longer are adequate to make decisions which effect a nation as a whole.

There's an interesting reference to this in Revelation.

Revelation 17:16-18) the wild beast, these will hate the harlot... the woman whom you saw means the great city that has a kingdom over the kings of the earth

(Revelation 18:2) She has fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen, and she has become a dwelling place of demons and a lurking place of every unclean exhalation and a lurking place of every unclean and hated bird!
---
Babylon the Great being the empire of false religion, the wild beast being the governments---at first the harlot was sitting upon the beast, they go well together then the beast kills her....perhaps with too muh politicking, they cant take it anymore and so they stop the church's intrusion....
