It is so funny that you ask this question... I found out that April is actually the driest month where I live and September is the wettest. I suggest that you go on weather.com and find out. On the website click the blue button that says "plan ahead" and select "wedding planner." From that link, select "Get typical weather" and all you have to do is enter your zip code and it will give you a graph of the typical weather and precipitation. It really helped me.. hope it helps you! Good luck (my best friend is getting married on April 23 and I am getting married in July..)

My cousin got married on 4/23/05. Most days that month were pretty & warm. The day before was in the high 60's & sunny. The day OF the wedding...snow storm. Dead serious. I'm getting married in March, that along with April is a pretty unpredictable month. Either way, make the best of it. Rain means nothing as long as it's an indoor wedding & reception. You can still have a wonderful day. Good luck!

I am getting married in April of 08, so I know exactly how you feel. Part of me is worried that it may rain, but you know what you can't predict the weather!!! You could plan your wedding for June or July and it could rain, nothing is for certain, unless you get married somewhere that has perfect weather 24/7. I also checked weather.com for my area to see which month is the wettest and for me it's October, so I feel pretty hopeful. I feel that if it rains, it rains and I can't change that fact. Just go with the flow and hope for the best. GOOD LUCK!!

Its a little too close to change the date. if you are having an outdoor reception make sure to have a tent and heater supplier on call the day before just in case. It can be pricey but its better then having all your guests leave because they are uncomfortable. If its indoors dont even worry about it.

And remeber if it rains on your wedding day its said to be good luck!

I got married in April... Friday the 13th in fact. Had nothing but sunny skies and 70's in Vegas that day!

Who cares if it rains or not?

What matters is that you are in love...
