Acording to my religion god made everything and there was no "monkeys become humans" or anything like that. Should I belive that god made everything or that monkeys turned into humans?

Believe science where it conflicts with religion.

But let me make two points. First, you can still believe that god made everything. The only thing that evolution says is that everything was made over the course of billions of years, not over 6 days. Evolution states that mutations are random but some Christians see god's handiwork in them.

Second, monkeys didn't become humans. A pre-human pre-ape creature evolved in two different directions. One group of these creatures evolved into chimpanzees (not monkeys). Another group evolved into humans. At the level of DNA, we share over 99% of it with chimpanzees. This is more than we share with any other animal and it makes the chimpanzee our closest living "relative" genetically.

Let me ask you, is it necessary for your faith that god created the world in six days? Doesn't your god have the power to work through a mechanism like evolution?

You might think of it this way: in the bible, the Earth is fixed in space. It is surrounded by a firmament into which god placed lights we call the Sun, the Moon, the planets, and the stars. Copernicus and Galileo said that the Sun was in the center and the Earth revolved around it along with the other planets. This is still what science teaches and I suspect that it is what you believe. It is even what most churches have now acknowledged to be the case. Does the fact that most religious people now believe that science is right and the bible is wrong diminish your god?

It shouldn't. Your faith teaches that you are made in god's image. If you believe that this means that god looks like us, you can join one of the debates as to what god's genitalia look like. I would argue that the only image that makes sense is the word, the logos, the knowledge. It is not our visage but the way we think. I cannot imagine that god would give you reason and then ask you not to use it. Think about things for yourself. Don't allow yourself to be led down paths which make no sense, regardless of how silver-tongued the shepherd is.

Neither.

Science does not support that monkeys turned into humans so you do not have a good grasp of Evolution. Do not believe in science as a faith based system because it is not a faith based system. Study science, learn from it.

Science. Science is at least provable. Religion is not.

And SCIENCE DOES NOT SAY HUMANS CAME FROM MONKEYS.

By all the gods that may or may not exist, at least have an education and learn what it actually DOES say. The only person to blame for lack of knowledge is yourself.

You can believe both.

As to monkeys into humans, that isn't the case.

The theory is that monkeys and Humans have a common ancestor which is neither human NOR monkey.

ABSOLUTELY your religion......I hope you have figured out by reading and watching history that science has been shoved down our throats. Religion has been taken out of schools and science shoved in its place. Evolution has taken the place of The Creation in science class and a "Moment of silence" has taken the place of prayer at football games. Do not let the world dictate to you what you KNOW you already believe to be TRUE.
Keep your faith and keep going to church, reading the scripture, and praying that God will heal our land.

Believe both. The evolution of man from ape is simply a theory, without any basis in fact, so take that into consideration. I do believe in evolution, but the ape to man part is not in the least factual and its not true, simply one of many theories.

Both, but you need to find a happy medium that allows both religion and science to remain true in all contexts.

If you're religious, and you believe the Bible, than God made man in His image and likeness. God didn't make pond scum, and let it evolve.

I think a better question is do you fear that accepting evolution would cause your god to punish you?
