I have naturally straight hair, but after getting one of those haircuts in which your hair is chopped to different lenghts it has been very difficult to keep it straight and it goes in every direction except down and has very ugly, uneven waves. The only way to keep it straight it to blowdry it but I'm afraid it will damage if I keep doing it every day.

hey there..im a hairdresser and i can tell u, really if u have kinky, wavy hair and dont want to use a blowdryer everyday the only other real option u have is to use a flat iron. I would suggest that if ur worried about damaging your hair use a heat protector or sealer b4 u blowdry or flat iron. 'Sealed ends' by schwartzkoft works.. 'sleek works' by matrix and many more on the market.
the way they work is they seal the cuticle(outer layer of ur hair)AS your drying or ironing. proffesionaly speaking it really doesnt damage your hair too much if at all to use these instruments on a daily basis. but protection is key to healthy hair..
if u have any questions u can contact me..
hope this helps..

wrap it. After you wash it, you literally wrap it in a circlar motion around your head and put a scarf around it to hold it in place while it dries. You can even go to sleep like this and let me tell you, once you master the technique your hair will fall beautifully (I know....)
