what happens if a small earwig bites you arm?

yes i know exactly what earwigs are, in california it is not like wither at all...it's like 80 degrees!

i have a hub that works for orkin and he just said earwigs dont bite it is most likely a spider bite they just look ugly and group together like damp places good luck

Earwig?? I doubt you got bitten by an earwig...especially in the Winter. Do you know what earwigs are? They live in trees and gardens. They eat plants and flowers that are dead this time of year. Sometimes they are confused with cockroaches. But even they don't bite. Maybe you have bedbugs.

No but if their antlers go in to you they sting like hell. Once climbing a tree in my youth I felt a sharp pain jumped down and one was stuck in my finger wiggling about I screamed until some kind sole come and took it out. No lasting effect only cant stand the little critters now. So no they do not bite however their pincers can get stuck and yes that does hurt.

calm down, I have a some experience in this area, just so you know, nothing will happen. earwigs are like mosquito's (except they don't suck blood), they don't poison you like bees, they just leave the equivalent of saliva on the bite, so DON'T scratch it.
