This guy who really likes me came up to me today and told me how he was h*rny. Did part of it have to do with the fact that I am going to state championships for gymnastics and I was wearing my normal(somewhat tight) clothes??

If he's been liking you then you've probably always made him feel that way. Your clothes probably just intensified it. What can I say? Guys are weird. And if he had the audacity to tell you that to your face, then he's definetly not boyfriend material. Thats just rude and unprofessional.
