I question everything and I've never found anything that makes me doubt that Jesus Christ is the One Way to God the Father.
Like Peter says--"Lord, where else shall we go? Only You have the Words of Eternal Life!"
I mean honestly--Christianity if you look closely is the only boat that's floating. Everything else is ridiculous. Just the prophesies that are fulfilled in Jesus' last 24 hours before he goes to the cross are insanely amazing!
Read "Evidence that demands a verdict" by Josh McDowell--it'll rock your world.

You asked me why I think my belief's are right,. I believe because of the very book you can't substantiate is false! (John 14:6 NIV) Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. See I didn't say it Jesus did. you don't have to prove that the whole Bible is false, why not just prove that Jesus was not real. Now that should be easier for you. Of course you will have to ignore most of the Roman records from 2,000 years ago, and all the eye witness accounts.
Even better, since the Bible is man made and religion is man made, why not write your own bible and start your own religion. Then when your bible is as popular and lasts as long as the real Bible even though whole governments have attempted to destroy it, you might be able to prove something.
I am happy that you at least believe there is a God. Too bad you don't want to know who He is. (James 2:19 NIV) You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder. They know there is a God but they are still on their way to hell. They have no way of obtaining forgiveness but you do as long as your have breath in your lungs. God loves you and wants you to know Him personally. Maybe you should investigate Him and see for yourself. There are hundreds or predications in the Bible which were written hundreds of years before they took place. There are predictions in the Bible dating back over 2,000 years which took place in the last hundred years. You can dismiss the Bible as Bull. if you like, but if you do you are not being intellectually honest with yourself. Look at the middle east, are you going to tell me that the Bible does not address what is going on there? That it did not predict that Israel would be the center of world concern as far back as 4,000 years ago? There was not even a country called Israel for the past almost 2,000 years until 1946.
Just read the bible, attend church to edify one another.

Sure, I used to. Then I looked at and learned about other religions and they all led me back to my original beliefs.
I think perhaps if my religion didn't exist I might have joined the Buddhists or some other tolerant, peaceful group but never a violent, self serving religion.
I don't believe that every other religion is wrong - they just aren't for me.

I don't and here's why...
John 14:6 Jesus answered I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.
Now...take a good long hard look at Jesus of Nazareth. He was sinless. He healed the sick, blind, crippled (physically challenged for you PC'ers out there). Raised people from the dead...and he himself was raised from the dead.
The salvation that Jesus offers is a gift. It can not be earned. (So that no man can boast.) The first step is to believe in him...repent of your sins and then follow him.
The two greatest commandments: 1) Love God with all of your heart, soul and mind. 2) Love one another as Jesus loves us.
It's that simple.
Some may think there are many roads that lead to God but that would not be accurate.
Jesus said that the gate is narrow. The road to hell-o is wide and many will enter. The gate to heaven is narrow and many will not enter.
Jesus also said that it would be easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than it would be for a rich man to enter heaven.
Any-time we put anything ahead of the living God, we are putting our eternity in grave danger. "The love of money is the root of many evils."
Best wishes!

You know, the odd thing is, only Christians worry about this. You don't hear Buddhists saying, how do I know my religion is the right religion. You don't hear Jews saying that someone else's religion is the wrong religion. You don't hear Hindus saying that God ignores the prayers of everyone who isn't Hindu.
But Christians do this. The tell the Buddhist that his religion is a cult, that God ignores his prayers. The tell my deeply religious Jewish neighbor that God ignores his prayers and that he and his entire family are going to go to hell just for being Jewish.
Fundamentalist Christians don't even see how grossly offensive this is to deeply religious people of other faiths. They even call people of other faiths atheists. Then they wonder why people challenge them here. "Oh, it must be because Jesus died on the cross," they say. Well, that's absurd. No one is going to challenge them because Jesus died on the cross. People challenge them because they insult religious people of other faiths by calling their religion a cult, telling them that God ignores their prayers, and that they are all going to suffer for all eternity in hell.

I don't think my religion is right for everyone. It's right for me. I don't think it's wrong for me since I studied a lot of different types of spirituality and what I believe myself before finding one that represented me. Pagan as a broad term represents me. I have very indiginous type beliefs. It helps me connect to the divine. But it's not right for everyone. There are many ways to see God, or the divine.

Never. !!
Remember, . . . .If I am wrong then I am made out to be a fool and nothing more. But if I am right, . . . . .Then I go to Heaven. I would much rather be where I am not with my belief in God and made out to be a fool for a time, than know that I could miss the boat ride to Heaven. !!
I can handle a little ridicule, but I surely do not want to miss my chance to go to Heaven. No Way. !!!!!!!

Good question!! Yes, I have questioned lots of things concerning my beliefs and what people tell/told me about God and walking a Christian walk. I have to tell the truth that lots of if was jibberish!! I realized that we are easily proned to brainwash and manipulation when we don't ask questions and defend our gut feelings about things. Now, I feel like I've liberated myself from such harsh religious bondage. Grant it.... God never changes but people do and people are always going to fail you... God never will!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a lesson learned that God cannot be put in a box according to our limited understanding.
