i now know the cause for the moderate pain and numbing sensation i have in my hands. but i was wonder why only the the last 2 digits on my hands are always asleep. is this caused from the ulnar neuropathy

Could be the cause. The ulnar nerve innervates the fourth and fifth fingers. Another cause of the numbness could be a pinched nerve in the neck that is affecting the ulnar nerve.
