O.k. This boy says that he doesn't like me, but whenever he's around me, he hugs me and today he gave me a great big hug and then( I know this sounds bad, but we play like this sometimes) He bumps his knee on my butt! Not hard, but hard enough to make me jump and scream( not in pain, in "silliness"). I swear, He acts like he's flirting with me. I don't know what to do. Does he like me or not??? I'm gonna guess you are in the seventh or eighth grade. Dont get your hopes up, he's probably just being friendly. The best advice I can give is for you to observe how he acts around other girls.

You never mentioned your age. This sounds like something a young guy would do 15, 16, 17 ??? It's important to remember that girls mature faster than guys do.
Sometimes us girls, are ready to be in Love 2 years earlier than the guys. You may want attention, but he may just want a girl to goof around with when the guys are not around.
If he told you that he didn't like you...take his word at face value, and accept that.
move on ...and good luck with the next guy.

No he doesn't like you. But I'm guess you want him to like you. Alright the real reason he doesn't like you is cause you ugly or fat, so change those about yourself.
And then secondly start hanging out with a bunch of other dudes to make him jealous, and show him that he is easily replaced, then next time he kicks you in the butt, look at him and show no emotions and shake your head. And walk away. Make him feel like trash. He'll regreat treating you like that and try even harder to please.

Of course he likes you. He is flirting with you, can't you tell? If you don't like him then tell him to stop, otherwise he will continue and maybe do something more that will offend you down the road.
