I know we are told we have Gods Mercy and His Grace, and Christ died for us,&need tobe humble in charity, perserverence(s), commandments, LOVE, church, converting and attempting to convert others, but back to the question what if we were actually off without second chance, + to hell with that there hogfarm 'purgatory' theorism. And I am not refering to the situation where God will surely forgive us if we were trying but failed, becasue what if we are off on that assumption, God is not something we would feel comfortable with in saying, I know whats going on, Im safe, although that is what Christ says in trusting him. It just seemes somehow scarily scrambled and it would be nice going to heaven rather than a default leading to that place where Hitler is 4 ever /\/ 4ever. Thanks I know to me this is a sour thought or question, sorry but Im looking course for good out of it, like education and maily help if it gos anywhere in interest.

Trusting in God would not propose behaving recklessly because you imagine he will prevent besides. And definite you'd be going to heaven if you're a Christian, yet doing that could be type of like suicidal, that is type of like homicide, which isn't a loose bypass to get into heaven early.

I guess you have to decide whether or not you are going to believe. maybe we are all wrong (I highly doubt it) but if we are, then what have we lost by living lives according to the words in the Bible? If we are wrong and God sends us to hell because we tried to live good, righteous lives then is He really God?

The God I believe in is a God of love and mercy and is not that vindictive.

If you want to find all truth get down on your knees and pray. God answers prayers. He loves you and will lead you to find His true paths if that is what you truly want. Pray for it. You will get it.

Looks like to me that you really know what the answer is. Your note is very articulate in nature and you seem to already to know what the cost is for not following God. He makes HIS ways very clear and we are not to go where we should not go. We put on the breastplate of salvation and the full armour of God, however there is no protection to those that choose to go somewhere else and have fun and expect the mercy to follow them. We all know better don't we.

We have all fallen short of the Glory of God and we are all forgiven, but it does not give us a license to commit sin.

So choose which way you wish to go, for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. !!

I go by Jesus' words to His Father in prayer when He said;
'This is eternal life, that one believe in the Father and His Son, Jesus the Christ'.

That verse does not mention anything passing itself off as religion.

Religion exists, not as a path to God, but as a place where people of like minds can support one another.

religion is all about faith--the scripture says-"without faith it is imposible to please god."
in the beginning of the bible gen.1:1 THAT STARTS WITH A THEISTIC PROPOSITION. "IN THE BEGINNING GOD"
IF YOU ACCEPT BY FAITH AND BELEIVE THE BIBLE THEN THE THINGS IN THE BIBLE ARE REAL.
IF YOU CANNOT OR DONOT BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE OR GOD --THEN THERE IS NO REVELENCE TO GOD.
THAT IS THE BASIC DIFFERENCE--IF YOU CAN BELIEVE BY FAITH ITS(GOD) REAL.
THAT HAS TO BE YOUR DECISION.STUDY YOUR CHOICES CAREFULLY
HOPE THIS HELPS
