Ive got a lovely fresh lobster from M&S in my fridge that expired yesterday...can i still eat it?

It's probably okay as long is it doesn't have a foul odor. I would hate to waste a fresh lobster.

Is eating the lobster really worth risking your life? REALLY, think about it. Toxins can't be killed by anything including heat. Don't risk it! Here is one last way to think about it...if a restaurant served you a one day expired lobster would you be happy about it? I should hope not.

When did you buy it? Is it still alive? Is it on ice?

A day makes a BIG difference with shellfish. If it's dead, it is flooded with bacteria.

Call the place where you bout it from and ask them if it's OK. Shellfish (as opposed to fish) doesn't always have an odor when it's bad.
