does any one know the quickest way to find a permanent girlfriend before next wednesday so that I can take her out?

If the only reason you want a girl is so you can have a date for valentines day, you might as well stop in your tracks. On the other hand, if you genuinely want a girlfriend, I might have some helpful tips. There must be someone you're at least slightly interested in. Here is how to go about capturing her heart (or, at least, it'd work with me).
-Talk to her often. Ask her about her favorite things (music, movies, book, etc.), tell her about yourself. Have a conversation. Let her talk, listen to her, and answer/talk yourself. It'll get you a lot farther than admiring her from afar.
-Be affectionate. Now, I'm not saying to go up and start trying to feel her up or anything. That would be bad. Start off just being near her, standing close to her (but not creepily close), things like that. Maybe friendishly put your arm on her shoulder or give her a hug.
-Make her laugh. Corny pick up lines are great (as long as they arent too perverted) and so are clever anicdotes (like, amusing stories from your past).
It's just a start, but hopefully this helps you find someone. Don't go after a girl just because you think she's hot. Find someone who you find interesting who also finds you interesting. Hope this helps!

Wow! Where to begin? Do you need a girlfriend by Valentine's day to feel important? What are you going to do the rest of the year when it's not such a "special" day? I don't think that there is any hope for you if you have a timeline on getting a permanent girlfriend. How about you just ask out a girl you like and see what she says. Don't appear to be desperate...even though you are.

Well, not trying to find a "permanent" girlfriend may help.
You can't set out to find such things. The best you should do is look for a nice girl who you would like to ask out for Valentines day - if all goes well maybe she will become "permanent".

What's the rush man? there's no such thing as a permanent girlfriend. if you see a girl you like, ask her out, if she says no, ask another girl out. dont feel that you have to have a girlfriend to just because society says that you should have one. and 14th feb is just another day on the calender.

Try dating sites - I met a guy from match.com last week and things are going great (three dates since Saturday and have talked every day since Friday). I did not expect to have a bf before VDay but it's true that when you least expect it someone shows up.

I can tell you straight up that trying to find a girlfriend in a week will only result in you finding someone stupid and a waste of your time. Ask a girl you 're interested in out on a date, but not to be your girlfriend.

How romantic, seriously, it may suck being alone on V-Day, but really it's not worth it to get someone by then.
But if you must know: be exciting, tease the person you like, and get a bit bold, and show her that you like her without seeming emo. Don't get me wrong, girls often say that the emo guys are cute, but in reality they can't stand the irritating whine.

Get a lot better looking....become suave and sophisticated and behave in a generally groovy way in front of every woman you meet from now on!!!
Try not to swear and food should stay in your body once it has entered your mouth.
Never address them by name...you will be amazed how often you can be wrong!...You will be further amazed how upset they can become!!!
If it gets serious...make sure you get the date you met tatooed somewhere invisible so that you don't forget it in the years to come. Otherwise there won't be any years to come...there will just be anniversaries of torture.
Have you tried standing on street corners and saying....'OYEEE...YOU LUCKY *****!!!...'
Don't mention it....just try not to sound desperate!

lol i want a boyfriend before valentines day too. No girl wants to be single on valentines day so just be yourself and flirt with some girls a little bit until you feel some chemistry and ask her out.
