Whenever I try to open up an attachment on my home computer, it says Microsoft is not genuine and to purchase software. It has never done this before and will not let me download Media player 11. Is there anyway I can open up my attachments without purchasing new software?

Sounds like you have an illegal copy of windows XP. They started cracking down on illegal stuff, like the new software all has to verify that your windows is geniune and legal. So, if you download IE 7, your windows will not work anymore if you have an illegal copy of windows. Same with Media Player 11, it scans it before it loads it. But, if you have a legit windows, I would contact Microsoft. If you got it from a friend, or bought it off of someone, you have to buy a new windows disk.

Where did you get your version of Windows? You may have gotton tricked into buying an illegal copy of Windows, which will make it hard for you to download programs from Microsoft. Instead of Media Player you can try MusicMatch Jukebox. It supports almost all of the files that Media Player supports and plus doesn't require verification to my knowledge. I don't remember the exact link but put Musicmatch into Yahoo! Search and you're sure to find it. Got Jesus? Go to http://www.notreligion.com for more information.
