This depends...do you hate just the RING or the fact that it's pierced? If you hate the ring, then I would suggest having another ring at the ready if you want to change it. Have it right there, so that when you take it out, you can put the new one right in. And unless you want it to heal up, I would suggest leaving it in for the extra week, what could it hurt? Good Luck^_^

I believe it's safe to remove a tongue ring anytime after you have your tongue pierced... but I'm not sure if the piercing will heal immediately or not. If you don't want the piercing anymore, go for it. Otherwise, simply call the shop where you had it done, they could tell you for sure.

If you hate, the take it out now and let your tongue revert to its natural state! If you decide you still want one in a year or two, go get another one!

If you already hate it, why would you want to keeep a hole in your tongue which can cause serious, painful, and ,frankly, disgusting problems for you later?!

I hate tounge percings! They look really wierd, ( Ive never gotten one). oh well, that doesnt matter at all, lol.
Well, just like getting your ears peirced, you have to wait at least 2 weeks. Or else you wiil get a really nasty infection, and espically in your mouth because you have all of that bacteria in there. That wouldnt be good! So to be safe, wait 8 more days! Dont worry, youll survive.

Just take it out and continue to use the santition techniques that they told you. Since it is so soon since the piercing, it may close up and heal and since you hate it, it may be a good thing.

You can take it out but you need to look for signs of infection like redness, swelling, pus, discharge of any kind....ice will help for pain and tylenol or motin....if it looks "bad " go to the doctor for a chack up.

Yes!!!! It will close very quickly, (Within a day or so) so make sure that it's what you really want to do. Repiercing can be difficult if you change your mind (due to thickness from scar tissue)

Nope you're stuck with it. Now your tongue, well, that's a different thing entirely. You can remove it anytime. I suggest you burn the bloody stump with a branding iron. Just for cleanliness that is.

As soon as you take it out, it will begin healing. It is never too early to take it out if you don't want it anymore!!
