If God is really all powerful is there anything he can't do?

Shouldn't we extra careful not to limit him with words like:
- impossible
- chronic
- terminal
- pathological
- dead (as in "over my dead body", " ... if it kills me")
- hopeless

As for your friend who lies, why not determmine in advance that all is forgiven, acknowledge forgiveness when he or she is sorry and leave the parts not understood to God?

to forgive, is to give, for. If your "friend" didn't want to give up his habit, and recieve the gift of YHVH, then he didn't, for YHVH won't force anyone. We must know our need, and ask for His grace, in order to be saved.
