I just think there are a lot of people I don't want to be around. Any thoughts? I mean we're supposed to be happy there, right?

I want to spend an eternity with God and those that are in His family. Everyone will be more than happy.

May God Bless you.

love, if you want to go to heaven then you'll have to get used to be around the people you hate. heaven is for everyone not just for the people you like and get on with. God will choose the people that he wants and be warned that you won't like some of those people but don't stress God will also take care of you and when we rise to life after death we'll be angels so we might not even remember anything.

Happiness isn't the main reason we go to heaven; it's a by-product of being in Heaven. We go there to walk with God face to face. And He is so incredibly awesome and perfect!

There are some Christians who are immature in their faith and Christian character so I can understand your reservations to want to hang out with them but there will be many great mature people there and they will be fun to hang out with. When you're in the presence of God it changes you and just think, many believers have been there for 1000s of years! Plus Jesus is there! Who would ever want to be away from Him! He is THE Perfect One! I can't wait to see Him face to face!

And hell...it's so bad! So bad! No one really wants to go there! Not if they knew what it's really like!

Here's a couple resources you may wanna check out - Jesse Duplantis' Close Encounters of the God kind Special Edition DVD -

And "We Saw Heaven" by Roberts Liardon. Great book!

I would hope to everyone there but I wouldn't take my eyes off the reason why I am there in the first place.. I don't know what more you would ask than to be held in the arms of pure all encompassing love... Jim

Heaven exists.

When you get there, the only thing you will find that matters is Jesus.

But, this whole point is moot if you are not a believer.

You could very well spend an eternity with such people in Hell. Don't let unbelievers fool you so easily when they claim to know God.

Heaven exists and according to your post ...it doesn't look like you will be there....so I wouldn't worry about it.

However, if you change your mind and don't want hell....then there is one sure way to heaven....
'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ ...and you shall be saved...."

He loves you and died to pay the price for our sins....make your prayer to him and he will accept you....if you are willing to turn from sin...and receive him a Savior..

yeah, won't they be disappointed when the people they looked down on get in too? do you think they will still try to segregate themselves? sounds like a bad afterschool special.
