Why To Go To New York!?!?!?

I need a list of reasons to go to New York. My family will only let me go if I have more reasons than just the Fall Out Boy concert. Best list gets ten points!

By your name I assume you are interested in fashion. NYC is the place to see if a career in that is for you. If not, tell your folks you wish to visit a museum of whatever. List 10 different things and NYC has it. Just google New York City museums and pick 10 from the 58,000,000 hits you get.
