My and my other black friends have the toughest time meeting women out and about. We're great on the inside and out, but it seems as if people subject us to a much harsher screening process. Many people label us as the "uncle tom" type so I don't know if thats scaring girls a way. Anyway, we're all 26 and out of college now, so we are considering turning or attention to the net to meet women.

No it's not better - it's just another way to try if you're not meeting the right people in other ways.

You have a lot to offer and that is what you project to the world no matter what. Never negotiate your identity, and anyone, I repeat, ANYONE, who has a problem with you and your friends for any reason is not worthy of your time and company.
In my vast experience, meeting people on line should not be used as a sole method to meet women. You are young, well educated and going places, so do not let any racist ignorant limited individuals send you scurrying to hide behind a computer keyboard, for God's sake.
Go out there, have fun, be yourself, maybe mix it up a bit and go to as many different places as you can.
You will meet people in no time.
Good Luck

I have known a few people that have used the net to find people. Most are happy now. But I would still take it slow. If you are going to look online. Just be careful. I would use a trusted site. I have listed some for you to look at.I hope this help.

no! no! no! stick to the real world! besides, the same women that you have been meeting out there are also in the net. the difference is, that you'll waste more time realizing it then if you were to meet them in real life. i strongly dont recommend online dating.

i don't think being black has anything to do with you not being able to meet women, maybe its the way you carry yourself or it could be the way you dress or act. if you want to meet a nice sophisticated girl your not going to act and dress like your from the hood. you feel me?
