No, height has no bearing with a pulse rate. I have know very tall people who have had very low pulse rates due to physical fitness, and shorter people who have had rapid pulse weights due to lack of physical fitness. Your overall health has a lot more bearing on heart rate than anything else. More things that can affect your heart rate include caffiene, excercise, nutrition, drugs, etc.

My only guess would be that an average person's height would probably relate to that person's weight. And as we all know- a higher weight often means a faster pulse rate. So, you know, there you have it.
