It doesn't matter what you eat as long a you brush your teeth and tongue immediatly after EVERY meal or snack, and floss. Use listerine too. Get a dental travel kit and carry it with you at all times.

No, because the mouth guard does not have an air tight fit. Bacteria are the cause of cavities and tooth decay. The bacteria would multiply and spread around your mouth with or without the guard in place. In order to avoid cavities and tooth decay, you need to brush after every meal and use a good quality mouthwash. Flossing after each meal is also recommended.

Chocolates and sweets are loaded with sugars. Sugars and bacteria in your mouth acts as acid on your teeth and cause tooth decay. Drink plenty of water leave out the sweets and pop drinks brush at least twice a day and get the cavities filled.

Any type and any amount of sugar can cause the decay to move faster...this includes chocolate and ANY other type of sugar, even if it is a half teaspoon in your coffee or tea. If you completely remove the refined sugars from your diet and have excellent hygiene, you can actually halt the progress of the decay until you get to a dentist. Best of luck.

If you brush your teeth and floss as you should, chocolate should not be a problem. Sticky candy like taffy or caramel is much worse for your teeth!

Brush your teeth twice a day and it wouldn't hurt for you to floss too.

decay is nuthing but ... dessication of the food material or bacteria living in your mouth on the left food particles... it's jst the decay of food in your mouth which leads to this, so my advice is that to brush good and floss.. and dun let any food particles remain in there...
