I am in 8th grade and i like this 7th grader. the thing is that he will talk to me but he wont go out with me because he thinks i'm ugly. i know he is being shallow and i know i should move on a forget him but i like him too much. I need to get him to try to get to know me, but how? what should i do?

You're 13....don't worry about it. Your too young to worried about this crap anyway. Just be his friend and if he doesn't want to be yours, then move on.

U dont want to try and get someone who thinks your ugly to get to know u. If he had any morals then he would already know that its not always about looks and that u could be a great person to get to know. He should at least try as a friend first then make his decision. But it doesnt sound like that is something he wants to do and u cant make him. I suggest u move along to someone who can appreciate your inside as well as your outside

This guy sounds like an ***. You should not waste any of your precious time on getting someone to like you who can't like you for you. Life's too short to wait for anyone. Do other things to make yourself happy and worry about guys later, trust me they only get worse the older you get until you can find one of the few ones who will like you just as you are. And that's what you really deserve. :)

hi, you should move on to someone else he said no now move to the next boy. unfortunately girls are more mature than boys he clearly not ready for dating. p.s I'm sure your not ugly just changing i wouldn't be too surprised in a year or so he asks you out then you can tell HIM he's not your type.

if he has had a bad day then just be like "hey whats wrong?? i mean..... i kno you don't like me and all but..... can we atleast be frnds?? and you kinda look like you could talk about a few things!!" and see what he says!! oh yah...... word fo advice..... don't put your grade level on the internet!! bad idea!! frm a girl to a girl....... just don't do it!! oh yah..... and i dated a guy that was younger than me....... BIGGEST mistake of my life!! someitmes it works...... sometimes it doesn't!! so its best to be frnds first!
