i am moving. and where i live we are offered academies. i am very acidemic. i have always had all A's. and i have always been in the most advanced classes. you may call me nerdy. :D. i have applied to the academy for math and science [ohhlala, scholerships for girlies in this one]. i am going to take the test. and i will be accepted. jsut to have that on my college apps. anyways i am moving, to flordia. were i am going they dont offer such programs. they only have IB, which is not what i want to do. so they are saying they dont have geometry or spanish 2 for either graders down there either. i will have to be driven to high schol for that the rest of the year. i know that my counseler is taking care of this all. but id like to ask...is there any way i can prove to my new teachers down there that i really AM a gifted kid? its like in the begninng of schol years. all over again. they know we are smart. but they still dont trust us..what is soemthing i could do to gain that trust fast?

You earn trust by proving youself trustworthy. Unfortunately, that can take some time, ironically, longer if you demand the trust. Regretably, this is also true anytime you change locations. Fighting it (as I once did) just gets you into fights and makes it take longer.
