Yes. This is a common occurance. You should immediately write letters to the credit companies and bring this matter to their attention. Be persistant and document everything that you receive from them. Just remember to always be polite and firm when dealing with these credit bureaus. I hope this information is helpful for you. you are able to deliver one letter with all disputes for that credit bureau to that bureau. Or in case you recieved your credit document by means of mail (or in case you have a document quantity on the credit document) you are able to call the dispute quantity listed on the credit document. they'll observe down each and every of the products disputed and the excuses why and furnish you with a confirmation quantity over the telephone. they have 30 days from the day you call to coach the information the suitable option or delete it out of your document. you're able to try this by means of all 3 bureaus one million-800 quantity.

Yes, it happens all the time. Be sure to write letters not only to the credit bureau where it remains, but to the company(s) that list the infraction as well. Keep writing letters, I promise you that it will be off within a few months.

Yes they can. If you write them and tell them their are erroneous errors on your reports and point out the item # they have 30 day to look into it. If they still leave it you need to write the company that reported you directly and say it isn't yours and you want them to take it off or provide proof that this is indeed your account. Keep on them and send thing certified after the first time.
