No, he's not lying. He probably does have a lot on his mind. Most people do. But does he truly care about you? "Why haven't you been talking to me?" isn't really the best opener. Maybe something like: "How are we doing, do you think, as a couple?" See where the conversation goes.

no, not necessarily. I do that a lot and thats because i'm thinking. If he's a capricorn male then you'll need to read up on his astrological sign, that will give you some answers. Luckily my gf is a capricorn like me so she understand what I mean when I say that. Maybe theres some things he's trying to sort out on his own, give him time.

I don't think it's a lie. He's probably got a lot on his mind like he said. When my guy says that he's thinking of certain things. Just like when us girls say that we have a lot on our minds. We are just thinking of some things that are bothering us. It doesn't mean that we are lying when we say that. I don't think he is either. But the next time that he says that you should ask him what are thinking about. Act concerned. Sometimes they are just trying to get our attention. Sometimes when I say that to my guy I am just trying to get his attention. Good Luck

It could be that he's stressed and truly does have a lot on his mind, and maybe he feels he can't handle a relationship with you at the moment. I think he's asking you to hold out until his life gets a little more organized, but I could be wrong - he could be lying just as you suspect.
I wish you well!

it doesnt necessarily mean he's lying. sounds more like he has trouble opening up to you. try telling that you'd really like to know what's on his mind because you care about him, and as much as you respect his privacy, its kinda hard not take it personal that he's not sharing his thoughts with you. you might wanna let him know that he doesnt have to tell you anything right away, but when he's ready to open up, you'll be there.
keep in mind that some guys have a really hard time opening up to anyone. so, you might wanna trick him into telling you what's on his mind. for example, i have a guy friend who was best friends with this asian kid who once moved away. my friend (we'll call him Roger) was really sad because he'd known this kid since childhood. but he was having a very hard time opening up to me about how he was feeling. so once i was hanging out with him and mentioned a joke that the asian kid had once told him and which Roger had later on told me. it made him laugh to remember the joke and i added, too bad he left, cus even though i didnt know him that much, he was a really cool guy. i guess that did it cus he started talking about it. later on he thanked me for helping him get his feelings out which made him feel better. so just trick him into talking about it and it might just get you two closer.

There is no right or wrong answer. He could just need space. He could be spending time with your best friend. Personally, I think there should be good communication in a relationship. He shouldn't be closed off to you on a regular basis.

not necessarily. my future hubby 'has alot on his mind' but I asked him about it, and he said it was work, so I double checked by asking if everything in his 'life' was good besides work, and then he knew I needed to be reassured so he said 'yes, I have a great job, just bought a house, engaged to a beautiful woman, and bought a new car' life is good.
It could just be that your man needs time to think and doesn't want to bore you with work blah blah

guys are different from women they don't always know how to express thoughts as women do, women are more emotional so its not as hard, where men are more physical. So, he may not be lying, he may just be a little withdrawn until he solves his issue.
