this is practically a dumb question but the more beer i drink , the more i can handle right? or will i always be at a certain limit?

you will develop a tolerance....but always drink in moderation....

24 beers in a case, 24 hours in a day...no coincidence there...

Yes, in college I could easily go through a quite a bit beer, 12 beers plus shots easily at a party.

Now, 1 or 2 is my limit.

Are you prepared for the beer belly that comes with all that beer. I get a bloated stomach just having 1 or 2. I can't drink more than that.

Over time, you will develop tolerance. You can get yourself to the point where even 12-18 beers won't do anything to you. Of course, soon after that, you'll want to get a new liver.
