Is "Wichi Lango" a common nickname for someone by the name of "Luis Rivera"?

I've never heard that one before, I've heard 'lichi' for a Luis, so it's close enough to 'wichi' if this person is from Mexico city, they're called 'chilangos' so maybe that's why he's called wichilango, the last name has nothing to do with the nickname though.

I don't think so.

In Mexico Wicho is the nickname for Luis, but "Wichi Lango" sounds like the name of another thing. I hadn't heard it before.

That is not Spanish. There is no W in true Spanish. It has just infiltrated into the language from words in other languages. The sound of W is made by GU.
Knowing about Luis Rivera has nothing to do with knowing Spanish. You tricked me and I'll never answer your stupid question, even though I know the answer. : P
