Yeah, I'd say it does. After all, you got dunked, you just never came back up. I'm not sure it says specifically anywhere you have to come back up for it to count.

Baptism is an immersion or sprinkling of water that signifies one's identification with a belief or cause. In Christianity it is the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Rom. 6:4-54). It is done in the name and authority (Acts 4:7) of Christ with the baptismal formula of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19).

Baptism does not save us (1 Pet. 3:21). However, it is our obligation, as believers, to receive it.

That must be the best. That way you don't even have a chance to get yourself dirty with sin again. I suggest they do that during all of the baptism rituals.

ooh! That would suck sooooo bad for that poor priest- it could be an a$$hole priest, and I would still feel sorry for him/her.
